I picked this one up at a radio auction In Red Deer Alberta some time ago and after new caps it works good Just thought I would show you guys the finished product... It;s a battert set
I do like the knobs and I am suprised that they are still with the radio

It must have had good storage , I think those knobs are of the type that usually decompose.
Is the material Tennite? anyone ?

I have a few examples that are in various stages of turning to dust, or at least badly warping.

Yes those knobs usually are very decomposed when we get them, and I have a few that are all wrinkled up. The radio was probably in a dry storage area.I got it at an auction in Red Deer Alberta. The guy who owned it also had about 60 or 70 other radios at the auction. He was fron Saskatchewan and most of the radios were battery sets.
As far as the radio being for sale'''''''''not at the moment ''''but I am considering selling some of my radios. to make room for some more that I want Thanks for the coments Dan
