How to Join the Canadian Vintage Radio Society

Joining the CVRS

Two types of membership are available in the CVRS based on whether you wish to receive a hard copy of the CVRS newsletter sent via Canada Post or a PDF file sent via e-mail (The recommended option: it’s faster and in full colour!). The payment amount you submit also depends on whether you pay by cash/cheque or whether you pay online. A full year's dues is $25 Cdn for the printed-mailed newsletter and $15 Cdn for the emailed version. International membership for PDF is available at the equivalent rate, and a postage surcharge will be added as necessary for hard copy mailing. If you submit your dues online, you must add $1 to cover the transfer costs and the submitted amount will be $16/$26.

Membership runs on the calendar year and annual dues are payable each January. Those who join the Society in September – November have the option of paying a part year and receiving only the Sept-Oct and Nov-Dec newsletters. This option is available for $10/$15 ($11/$16 online) again depending on whether you wish an emailed or mailed version. Members joining in September or later may also pay for the full year and receive back issues of the three spring newsletters.

All new members should provide the following information when sending their registration: Name, Mailing Address, Email Address, Telephone Number, Areas of Special Interest (in vintage electronics).

If paying by cheque, download the CVRS Membership Application, complete and send it along with a cheque for $15/$25 payable to CVRS Membership to:

Online

If submitting dues online, send email payments ($16/$26) by PayPal, hyperWALLET, or Interac to membership@canadianvintageradio.com.

Paypal

If you wish to pay using Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, etc., select the appropriate amount for Email or Post and click on the Buy Now button below:

If you are a new member, please also fill out and email the information requested above.

HyperWALLET

If paying by hyperWALLET, many banks and credit unions also let you use the “Pay Bills” option to pay directly to hyperWALLET. (Search for HYPERWALLET under “Add Payees” and, if found, enter account # CS347380941.) If using this method, also send an email to membership@canadianvintageradio.com with details of your hyperWALLET payment including date, name of bank/credit union used, and any receipt or confirmation number. (These are needed to identify your payment.) Include your information for the membership databank.

Interac

If using Interac, send the email with the security question and answer, and your information for the membership databank to membership@canadianvintageradio.com.
